Au Pair International - the experience of a lifetime!

To be part of the Au Pair International Au Pair Program, you must:

be 18 to 26 years old
enjoy caring for children
have at least 200 hours recent, practical childcare experience (If you have a childcare education or full-time experience looking after children, you may qualify for our Au Pair Professionnel program)
have completed your secondary school education
speak English
have no criminal record
have not previously been an au pair in the USA
hold a driver's license
commit to 12 months living with an American family

We are looking for Au Pair candidates that are open minded, flexible, mature, have a positive attitude and like caring for children. When applying for an Au Pair position, potential host families will look at your childcare and babysitting experience, your interests, education and work experience.

Other experiences like First Aid training, girl/boy scouts, music, dance, sports, arts and crafts, computer or a language are examples of skills that would contribute to your childcare abilities and strengthen your application.

You must be committed to a year providing childcare for your host family's children. In exchange, you will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience life and culture in the USA. You will meet other Au Pairs from all over the world, take some classes and have the chance to travel across the USA.

We have a network of local interviewers throughout the world. Contact us for a representative in your country!
