Letter To My Future Host Family
My name is Rita Bruscato, I am 19 years old and I currently live in Panamá city beach, Florida. I take care of three kids which ages are 6, 5 and almost 2 years old, they're all very energetic and active. I decided to have a friendly rematch since I couldn't get used to the city or make friends. For me, friendships are very important in this exchange program, since we are far away from our families. I also have a great relationship with my currently host family, it was hard to take this decision but everybody has the right to be happy. I came from a very small city called Iguape, in the state of São Paulo and I lived there my entire life.
I come from a very big family, I grew up with my father Nelson, my mother Lilian and my two sisters Karine and Thaís. My father Nelson is 71 years old and he is retiree, he's very active, he loves fishing, listening to classic musics, watching documentaries about wars, ships, airplanes and religion. My mother Lilian is 53 years old she's also someone very active, she loves animals (all kinds), she works as a housekeeper. My sister Thaís is 22 years old and she lives in Curitiba- Paraná, she's married and we have an amazing relashionsip, we're best friends. She's doing a nutrition university in a Federal university, I consider her as someone very smart, funny and cute. Karine is 29 years old and also my best friend. My family is everything for me and I love them with all my heart, being far away is hard but we always keep in touch doing video calls, switching messages and making voice calls.
I'm passionate about small things such as nature, animals, music, books, movies and my family, I don't need too much to feel happy and loved. My rotine is a kind of hard-working here, I do a lot of things, I study a lot and I put all my efforts on accomplishing my dreams.
I consider myself as someone very active, energetic, funny, polite, responsible, mature and caring. Whenever I go I try to do my best and I always give myself 100% in everything.
I'm infant qualified and I have a lot of experience caring for multiple ages and multiple kids at the same time, in my currently host family I had the chance to improve my childcare skills and live the experience of the au pair. I'm a pet-friendly person, non smoker, great swimmer and strong driver (I have a Florida driver license).
I decided to become an Au Pair because I'm passionate about kids, childcare and education, I also love the US and it's culture. Being an Au Pair gave me the opportunity to get even more mature, improve my english skills, get more contact with kids and get to know new things and have new experiences.
The world is full of colors, accents, flavors ... I would love to be able to get to know at least one more piece of it!
For me, the most important thing will always be building a good relationships wherever I go. The more doors we leave open, the more paths we have to go through!
Thank you for you time and interest. I hope to talk to you soon,
